i work with banner ads a lot and i'm having a very difficult time with them.
i'm running windows xp with norton firewall 2004. i have i.e. 6+ and mostly use crazy browser 1.0.5. as do people who can see them.

at some point in time, i suddenly began having trouble seeing the banners online. everyone else will be able to see them, but not me.

it's not with all banners, just some. i've been able to find no pattern. and it's definitely detrimental to my work.

why on earth can't i see banners that others, running the same systems, can see. and why is it only sporadic?

Have you go Ad blocking turned on with your Norton's Firewall 2004?
Do you have other ad blocking software installed?

yes ad blocking is enabled on norton. i have pop up blockers.
but these aren't really ads. i mean, i make a banner for someone's site. the put it on their page and they and others can see it but i can't. or i'm making banners for a rotator. i put in the info, save, then click on edit (that's the only way it shows the ad) and most times i can see it. others i can't and it's the same server, same program as the ones i can see. if i take the img src url and paste it into my address bar on my browser (crazy browser), sometimes it will show the graphic and others it won't. can't find any rhyme nor reason to it.

Try turning of your ad blocking in Nortons and then try the site again.
