Can't see slide number during presentation

One of my users states that he has sent a presentation to 3 clients and none
of them can see the slide numbers. I have sent the presentation to someone
else and they can see them just fine. Any idea why they wouldn't be able to
see them?
 
How were the slide numbers added, and what font was used for them?
