can't see second hard drive

I just got a new computer (Dell) which came with XP home. I took my 80 gig hard drive out of my old computer. It was being used as a second HD in that computer as well. I see it in the device manager and it says it's working properly, but I don't see it in the hard disk drives section of My Computer

What am I doing wrong. I've triple checked the jumpers and ribbon and I know the drive was working prior to puting it in

Hi,

Right click the category in the device manager and scan for hardware
changes. However, beings it is listed in the device manager this shouldn't
even come into play, but one never knows. And you did state that it is and
was set as slave before (meaning jumpers). Try Windows Explorer rather than
My Computer.
