Can't see dynamic effects

why can't i see dynamic effects in web preview? The
buttons I created only show as a broken image (red
X)..you can't see anything but the shadow of a button
that should be there. I'm using IE 6.0 and FP 2002

Under IE Tools| Internet Options | Advanced make sure you have Play animations in web pages checked.
Also make sure you are testing via File Menu | Preview in Browser, not the Preview tab.
