can't see a DOS partition

The computer is set up to dual boot Windows XP and DOS using System
Commander. When in XP the DOS partition cannot be seen.

Any sugestions?

I have been using System Commander for many years. As soon as this
question is posted, the settings in SC will be checked.

It was a setting in System Commander.
