Can't save NEW appointments in Outlook 2003

The above problem just started. I am trying to save a new appointment
I get this message: "This items can not be saved to folder. The folder has
been
deleted or moved or you do not have permission. Do you want to save a copy
of it in
the default folder for the item?" I have the option to say 'yes' or 'no'.
When I click 'yes'.
I get this message: "The message interface has returned an unknown error. It
the problem
persists restart Outlook".
Okay easy enough I restart Outlook and try again. I get the same messages. I
tried Googling
for help found that if restarting Outlook doesn't do it than to reboot.
STILL NO GO!
I found another message that suggested this :
"Tools-Options-Other--Advanced-Custom Form-Manage Form
There should be a form with two sides shown on this screen. On the Right
side the top panel should have "personal form" in the box. In the box below
make sure it has "appointment" chosen. Then click the "set" botton. Then go
to the left side of the screen and click "set". When you click Set on the
right side "appointment" should appear on the left side. For good measure
I
also clicked the clear the Cache box. I then exited and I can now enter an
appointment."
Well when click on Custom Form I get a low memory message. Ummm
I have 265 MB out of 512mb of memory available according to my Freemem
program.
I do not have a PDA, the add ons I have is McAfee and DCCextensions
(whatever that is)
I have Outlook 2003 sp2.
Any ideas? I need to have my Calendar functioning fully. I can by the way
edit appointments
and save them after editing.

it.
