Can't save movies to my computer

Guest

I have Windows XP media center edition. When using Windows Movie Maker, I can
create and edit movie files just fine, right up until the point where I can
save the movie. It appears to save, gives no error messages, but the movie
files are always 0 bytes long and have nothing in them.

I have tried reinstalling Windows Media player, reinstalled the codecs,
everything I could think of or find on Papa John's website. It still does not
work. Any other ideas?

I don't find anything except some events with MSN Messenger that don't happen
at "exactly" the same times. ESENT is what it says in the description.

Do you have Internet Explorer 7 installed?
If so try uninstalling it, your computer should revert back to IE6, and see
if that does the trick.
Some users have had problems with Movie Maker after installing Internet
Explorer 7.

Otherwise what types of clips (file extensions) are in your project?
How long is the project?
How many transitions etc...?

JPG's sometimes cause problems but not usually.
13MB is probably not a very complex project so that wouldn't be the issue.

What about Internet Explorer 7?

I redownloaded Service Pack 2. It worked right one time and then started
doing the same thing all over again.

I think we need to start over then.
Did you try saving a simple video? Just import a couple images and add a
transition and see if that saves.
Also did you try a lower setting such as saving it for email or one of the
other smaller settings files?
