can't save ActiveMovieControl object

After inserting an ActiveMovieControl object in PowerPoint
2000 and linking it to the .mpg clip, I can't save the
presentation. I get an error message saying "There is an
active or linked object that can't be saved automatically.
Please close the object first." But I can't find any
documentation on how to do that. Please advise.

April, why are you using the ActiveMovie Control? Use WMP instead or even
the MCI player controls.
