cant right click on screen

you know when you right click on a folder on the screen or right click on the
screen to bring up the properties .you get a box with all kinds of
prompts(open,delete) so forth.Well when i right click i have to take my
cursor up and down to high light all the prompts.It just started doing this.
Is there any way i can undo this or fix it plz help me
