Can't right-click desktop

Nothing happens when I right-click my Desktop. My kids must have re-set
something, but I can't figure out what.
 
Have you tried rebooting the computer? If that doesn't fix it try a System
Restore to a time before the problem started happening.
 
Thanks. I'm not running Ghost (or similar) so I'm not sure how to restore.
Is there a "repair" Win-XP capability?

Click on Start, Click on Help and Support, type in System Restore and press
Enter.

You're welcome. If restoring to a point prior to the problem doesn't fix
things post back with more details.
