Can't Reset and Maintain Home Page

I've been on-line since the mid 90's and never
experienced a problem like this. Here's the deal, IE
keeps defaulting to the following as the home page
http://prosearching.com/passthrough/index.html?
http://www.yahoo.com/

And everytime I change it (Tool, Internet Options, Home
Page) it works for a while, then reverts to the above.
And everytime I sing-off and/or reboot, it reverts to the
above.

I have no idea what's going on.

Sounds like Spyware to me or Browser Hijacker to be more specific.

Suggest you take the time & effort to learn more about spyware, adware,
malware.

Definitely update yourself with adware and spyware. Some
nasty spyware programs have hijacker abilities to control
some aspects of your computer. But don't worry. It can
easily be controlled. Do try those ideas that the other
guy gave.
Also try PC Bug Doctor...works marvels if you're willing
to pay.
Adware Spy 2.0...Run a complete system scan it will find
more errors and viruses that you've ever seen in your life.
also run Spy Doctor 2.0...a little bit better than Adware
Spy 2.0.
All of these programs have to be registered in order for
them to fix your computer but it is definitely worth the
money!
