Cant reply when Word is my email editor

I have outlook with the XP Office Suite. When I click reply, a little box
comes up that says Word is my email editor. Then outlook freezes and I have
to close the program. I can only get it to work if I turn "Word as my email
editor" off, but I want to use it for spelling. How do I get it back? Thanks.

Start by making sure that your Office and Windows are up to date. Run a
detect and repair on your Office or if needed do a reinstall.

How do I run a detect and repair on Office? Is it for all of office or just
outlook?
