Can't repair database

Hi,
My database is crash. When I try to repair it I get
message like this : Microsoft Jet database module can't
find object 'Databases'. Make sure object is created
earlier and name and path are correctly.

I have Access 2000. What can I do ??

Generally, this error message indicates database
corruption. Take a look at
this article for ways to troubleshoot this.

Sign of corruption.
