I can't not receive email. I receive the following error message:An unknown
error has occurred. Account: 'incoming.yahoo.verizon.net', Server:
'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error
Number: 0x80004005

I'm curious why the account name is so radically different from the POP server
name. By default, those two are identical. The account name really doesn't matter,
but it leads me to believe that your mail provider is Verizon. Is that correct?
If so, 'incoming.yahoo.verizon.net' is probably what you need to put for the
incoming server name.

I change the server name as you recomended. but I still get the below error
message. An unknown error has occurred. Account: 'windows mail', Server:
'incoming.yahoo.verizon.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No,
Error Number: 0x80004005

Unfortunately, Verizon's support site requires me to login in with a customer
username and password, which I don't have, so I have no way of verifying the
correctness of your settings.
Please contact your ISP's tech support for assistance.

Why is "yahoo" in the Verizon server name????
Are you trying to access a Yahoo acount, or a Verizon account?

For Verizon, this may help.....

"Mail server settings
* Incoming mail server (POP3): incoming.verizon.net
* Outgoing mail server (SMTP): outgoing.verizon.net
* Your Verizon Online user name
* Your Verizon Online password"

For Yahoo (Plus!)...

Verizon is in somewhat the same category as AT&T/SBC.
Initially they started out with their own ('legacy') domains, but later on
they began partnering with Yahoo and newer customers had their email
outsourced to Yahoo. This makes it tough for those of us who try to
provide support because we don't know if we're dealing with a 'legacy'
customer or a newer one.
