Can't receive email

Help: I just activated my Windows Mail on a new laptop. At first I could
Send & Receive mail. But only a few hours later the program appears to
disconnect before it can receive any new mail when I select "Send/Recieve".

Tools | Accounts
Do this for every account:
Select the account and click Properties.
On the Connection tab uncheck "Always connect to this account using:".
