Can't play Word 2007 help demos

I'm running Vista Home Premium and Office 2007. When I try to play a Help
demo in Word, I get the window, it says it's "ready," but the screen stays
black, and the demo won't play. This has been the case since I first got my
new computer w. Vista early last year, so it's not something that just
happened.

Ideas?
