I have set up a new notebook (Dell Inspiron 6000) and installed FP 2003. I
cannot open my website, the password is rejected yet it works on my desktop
PC (Dell Precision, Win XP pro). I have contacted Earthlink that hosts my
site. They can open the site with my password. We have reinstalled FP,
shutoff firewall in windows and Mcafe, and shut off virus protection. Still
can't open site. Help is appreciated.

Hi,

Don't know the exact cause of the problem, but maybe you can try to delete
the following cache files that FP stored for each site:

C:\Documents and Settings\Username (or Administrator)\Application
Data\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache

To my knowledge, these files are safe to be deleted and I consistently
deleted it so that FP will read and refresh the site's information again
upon new open.

Hope this helps.

What happens when you browse to the site in IE and use File Edit w/ FP?
If running Windows XP SP2 have you added FP as an Exception in Security?

The site opened through IE. Deleting the Cache corrected the problem.
Thanks for the help.
