Cant open some web pages(java script) after installing WebWasher

Hi,
I installed webwasher and noticed it was preventing me from opening
some web pages, e.g. if I go to tvguide.com and click one of the
entries in the listings, a small window should pop up w/a description
of that program. but now the window doesn't appear, nothing happens
when I click the entry except a message appaers in lower left hand
corner of ie that says "javascript:cu.." then a long number. I tried
uninstalling WW but no help. Can someone help w/this? thanks.

Did this application create a HOSTS file?


Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS, reboot.
