Can't open Pop up when wanted

Hello,

I can't get pop ups that I want to open to open, such as
games off of shockwave.com. The Browser flashes, but
nothing happens. I have run adaware and spybot, and i
have changed the privacy and content settings in addition
to uninstalling and reinstalling IE 6.

Any suggestions?

Try the following and see if it will help.

How to Enable Pop-ups:

The above issue can occur, if you have not enabled Activex scripts or jave
scripts.

Try enabling the scripts in IE by following the steps given below:

1.Open IE and click Tools and select Internet Options.
2.Click Security and click Custom level.
3.Scroll down the tab and enable all the options under "Activex control
and plugins".
4.Also enable the options under "Java VM" in the scroll list.
5.Click Ok.
