Hi all,
I am running Outlook version 11.0.8206.0
I was reading an email from a very trusted sender when all of a sudden ..
boom!
The 1st time I tried to reopen Outlook I got this dreadful message "Cannot
start Microsoft Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook window. The set folders
could not be opened. The server is not available. Contact your administrator
if this conditions persists"
Great because I am the administrator.
So I rebooted the pc
My 2nd attempt to open Outlook I got " Cannot start Microsoft Outlook.
Unable to open the Outlook window."
Then I came to this site. I've read many similar issues and the responses to
them.
I got as far as locating my .pst files but when I try to open it I get "
Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. The command argument is not valid.
Verify the switch you are using"
Outlook is not even an option on the "Open With List" when I try to open it.
The closest I could come was outlook.exe that is when I received the
"argument" error message.
Please help, this is my workplace pc.
Desperately,
Cmennis
