Can't open Outlook 2003

I have Windows XP loaded on my PC. I just loaded MS Office 2003.

Before using Outlook, I had to create a new profile. I built the profile,
but when I tried to open the app, I received the following message:

Unable to open your default e-mail folders. Create a new profile by
double-clicking the mail icon in Control Panel, clicking Show profiles, and
then clicking Add. After creating the new profile, make it your default by
selecting it, and then clicking Always use this profile.

When I click the OK button, Outlook closes.

I rebooted the PC, so as to accept the new credentials, and then tried to
open Outlook again. I received the same message.

I deleted and rebuilt the profile. Again I received the above message.

HELP!!!

Any information you can share would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
getravel (Mike)

Try running a Detect and Repair from the Help menu of one of the other
installed Office products (Word, for example). Make sure to have your Office
installation CD handy.
