We have a third party application that allows us to insert an e-mail

We tried Toms suggestion on Internet Options and found we were set to medium
and that the system will not allow us to set the security settings to low
(not sure if SP2 blocks that now?)

The application is a custom app in VFP6 using OLE to drop the e-mail into a
general field. It may be using an active-X control but if it is we believe it
is native to VFP6.

The reproducable refers to us haven taken several workstaions and only made
one change which was to install Defender and found the problem starts on all
XP Pro SP2 systems (we do not know if it happens on SP1).
Defender on W2k Pro does not produce this issue.
