Using IE 6 (V. 6.0.2800.1106 with SP1 and all UPDATES and patches) on a
Win98SE with all patches and updates.
When clicking on some popups, those that popup a image or a help file, the
window that opens is small and just says "about:blank" in ther bar.
Yet, on another computer, beside this one, with the same IE and Windows
version, the popup will open.
The popups are at http://westside.ca scroll down to the bottom and click
on the links at the bottom right. Like I say. On one computer - they open,
on another, just a small window that is blank.
Both computers run the same firewall and same anti-virus with both haveing
the same settings. I've tried with firewall and anti-v off. and off with
reboot. Scanned for popup killers, don't have any. Settings in IE were
compared and are identica on both machines.
On the non-conforming IE, when clicking on the popup window link, the bar
at the bottom says "Error in page" where on the working IE, it displayes
the link.
