i discovered this problem yesterday when i tried to open an adobe programme,
the window came up like it was loading up but then suddenly dissapeared. i
tried uninstalling and reinstalling the programme twice, butr it still
happened. i checked all my other programmes, 2 others werent opening either.
another adobe programme and itunes. adobe photoshop works fine though as are
other programmes. im thinking this must be aproblem with my computer not the
programmes right? what could be causing this and how could i fix it? thnk you!

Are there any clues in your event log as to why these programs are refusing
to open?
Does it do this for every user? (if you only have one - create a new one and
try with that one.)
