Can't kill processes with Task Manager

XP Pro with 1.6G processor and 256M RAM and All in Wonder
Radeon 7500. Hangs every couple of minutes when apps are
opened (Dreamweaver, or Outlook, or Illustrator,
etc...pretty heavy programs). Task manager shows 100% CPU
usage with these programs, and won't let me kill them...no
response when I hit end process. I have to reboot. Hangs
when I try to run spybot and norton. Any ideas? Hate to
have to reinstall...Thanks
 
You're trying to run Dreamweaver or Illustrator with 256MB of RAM?
