When I try to install pcAnywhere using the setup mode of
the CDROM, I get access permission errors, telling me
that I don't have the proper permissions to install. I
can do a passive install without getting the error.
However, after a passive install the product won't make
connections.
I have been trying everything that Symantec tech support
recommends. They now say it is a Windows permission
problem, since I cannot do a normal install. And, I was
unable to remove the read-only setting on any of the
system folders, such as "Windows".
For more details about the problem, please see the
following URL, on Symantec's web site.

I'd appreciate any suggestions that anyone has.
Thanx,
Barb
