can't install MM2

when i download MM2 and run the setup it says it installs
it but its no where on my cp. MM1 is there but nothing for
MM2. Anyone else have this problem??

Yep. I've installed from the web and from computer file
several times with the same result, no upgrade. I've
tried the suggested fix, copying files from the Windows
registered packages file folder but it is always empty.
Am looking for cause and resolver.
