Can't install East Asian languages

Trying to install East Asian languages, I've downloaded Windows XP service
pack 2, but it still asks for the CD. Based on the advice given in another
thread, I tried redirecting it towards the folder called "i386" but it wants
a file called "xjis.nls", which as far as I can tell is nowhere on my
computer. Help, please.

(BTW for some reason the folder "i386" is in C:\710b7bb5a88f53ece12a, rather
than C:\WINDOWS, where it's apparently meant to be...I'm confused...)

sound like your copy of XP is not legit. You need the XP Cd to install
any thing that is not loaded on your PC when the Xp is installed this
include any extra lanugages. Get yourslef a copy of XP

Actually I'm having this difficulty too. Whenever I try installing other
Regional languages (mainly East-Asia) it keeps saying, after placing in an
original Windows XP CD, that a certain file cannot be copied. Please help.

Make sure it is pointing to the correct location on the CD

I think Dicky means which ever one that your XP install CD is in.

Yes, unfortunately when I posted originally I did not have any XP systems in
the office - will change today as I will have 2 x Pro + 1 x Home to join my
2003 systems.

I have to do something similar as I have to install HE on all my computers.
