can't install a program on w2k machine

i can't install a program on my w2k machine.
he gives no error's but he doesn't install it.
very strange.

i have looked in the C:/winnt/ i have found the following
information from a log file:

EXE name: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
The file (c:\winnt\inf\oem0.inf) is not digitally signed,
ignoring driver date.
Selected driver installs from section NTSPPPOE.ndi in
c:\winnt\inf\oem0.inf.
Changed class GUID of device to {4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-
08002BE10318}.
Set selected driver.

The excerpt is from the Setupapi.log file and details the installation of a
networking driver. This driver is often installed as part of the setup for
Internet access from an ISP.

What issue are you having trying to install the application? What
application is it? Do you have anti-virus software running when you try to
install it?
