I AM TRYING TO INSERT A SONG FORM MEDIA PLAYER 11 INTO MY POWER POINT
PRESENTATION. IT SAYS "UNABLE TO INSERT SOUND FILE". PLEASE ADVISE

First of all: Don't shout! (All Caps is considered as shouting in
newsgroups. And it's hard to read!)

Second: Which file format is your sound? PowerPoint cannot play every
format, which WMP can play. Use MP3 or WMA.

If you mean you ripped a sound file with Windows Media Player then you can
not use it in PowerPoint. The file contains DRM and PowerPoint will refuse
to play it.
