Can't I get a copy of Word 2003 ANYWHERE?

I have several problems with Word 2007 - the greatest problem being that I'm
a broke college student and I can't afford it. I keep trying to find a copy
of Word 2003 - somewhere, anywhere, please - but I can't. Not on the
Microsoft website, not on Amazon, Google has failed me, you can see where I'm
getting a little desperate.

My trial copy of Word 2007 expired recently, and I still have term papers to
write! Help!

Yes, Open Office is the quickest and cheapest solution. Over the long term,
if you find that Open Office just doesn't do it for you (as I have found),
you can get an older copy of MS Word that comes in the MS Works Office Suite
(2004 I believe has Word 2003 on it). You can get it on Amazon for around
$40; if the real problem with Word 2007 was money, you can go to an
MS-sponsored site (if you are a college student taking a class now, with an
..edu email address), www.theultimatesteal.com, and get a copy of Office 2007
Ultimate for $60 (another $10 or so if you want the actual cds).

Just a couple more options.

I don't believe that any version of Works Suite has a version of Word later
than Word 2002, but this may be acceptable.

eBay? Though watch that what you buy is a genuine sealed retail copy .

I just checked the 2006 Suite, which still has Word 2002. I had the 2003
Suite which had 2002, and I just assumed that each Suite used the previous
version of Word... well find out something new everyday

Someone at MS told me, while Word 2003 was still current, that there was no
way they were going to let the Works team have Word 2003 because they'd made
such a hash of the implementation of Word 2002 (problems with the Microsoft
Works Suite Add-in for Word). Now that Word 2003 is no longer the latest
version, it's possible they'd relent, but obviously they haven't so far.
