Can't get vertical scroll bar in Word Frames Page

J

Jim Reynolds

I have a Word frames page with 8 frames in it, I want a vertical scroll bar
like a those on a normal Word page or web page, but I can't get it to appear.
When I go to Tools | Options | View tab, and I select Vertical Scroll Bar,
it still doesn't appear. When I return to that menu, the option shows as
unselected even after I select it. The scroll bar is also absent when I open
the page in Internet Explorer.

Anyone know how to correct this? Do I need to insert an ActiveX scroll bar
with a simple script to control all frames simulaneously? If so, is the
script posted somewhere?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Jim,

What version of Word are you using?

If prior to Word 2007 and you use the Frames Toolbar and the Frame Property icon, what is the setting for Scrollbar in the Borders
tab for that frame?
