Post to a newsgroup for the browser in question. If IE post to the internet
explorer newsgroup and specify the version of IE.

Never ever open a Bank account from a Public Internet cafe or common
computers, you don't know how much buggy these machine are?.

1= Click start >> Control Panel >> Double Click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options, on the IE Properties window
you will see these Options:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs
| Advanced .

Click on Connection Tab and be sure that your connection set to the proxy
not to your Old Connection there.
Click on LAN button then Proxy and be sure the correct IP is set and retype
the passoword.
Also try this:
Open a Run Command and type in:
ipconfig /flushdns click [OK]
ipconfig /renew click [OK]
netsh winsock reset click [Ok]
Reboot your machine and try the connection, the Hotel Reception should help
in that?.
HTH.

I don't understand, machine is NOT set up to go thru proxy server..
then why does proxy server block some sites?
(I don't have password -- is it same password as to log on to
machine?)

thank you...
