cant get second pc to get internet connection

I amrunning xp on my host pc and have dsl intenet my second pc is running 98
its an older pc doesnt have slot for ethernet card.what can i do to get
this pc to shre the internet with my other pc. I bought a etherner router and
network cable already anything else ikneed?
 
If the older PC has a USB port, you could use a USB ethernet adapter.
Without some sort of ethernet connection to the older PC, you will not be
able to share the DSL connection.
