can't get outlook 2003 to open

Getting the messages:
1). The connection to microsoft exchange server is unavailable, outlook must
be online or connected to complete this action.
-this is my personal computer that I use at home, I have no exchange server
nor no what it is.

2). Unable to open your default e-mail folders, the file
c:......outlook.ost is not an offline folder file.
-I am using wireless and on line
