Can't find macro that Word warns about when file openned.

When I open a certain Word 2003 document I get the Security Warning window
"this file contains macros..." but when I look for the macro to delete it
there aren't any listed. Can you hide macros or might this be a virus?

Have you tried opening up VBA?

tools --> macro --> Visual Basic Editor

Are there any Module? If there are still Modules present, Word will
think that the document still contains Marcos even if there us no
code.

To remove the Modules, right click on each one and then select "Remove
Module1" where Module1 refers to the name of the Module.

Hope this helps,

The only other suggestion that I can think of is to copy the text of
the document into a new one.

Edit --> Select all

sorry I couldn't be more help.
