I am trying to install Simple Network Management Protocol, WMI SNMP Provider
and some other programs but it keeps asking for accserv.mib which I cannot
find and my CD-RW/DVD is not working to put my CD in. I also keep getting
error messages about missing drivers but I cannot install new drivers because
my
CD-RW/DVD is not working and one of the so called corrupted drivers is to my
CD-ROM. I found http://support.microsoft.com/kb/237295 but it doesn't help
considering the circumstances. Any clue what I should do? Of course, it is
not my CD-ROM because the drivers for half of my hardware is missing,
including my C drive. That was a mess and now my D drive. I have lost all my
info taking it to a computer repair guy who didn't know as much as I did.

Guess the 1st priority would be to replace the broken cd-rw/dvd drive,or try
moving it to a diffrent connection on the other IDE cable.XP needs the xp cd
to install programs from optional "windows components" i would imagine....

I tried to do the same except I have 2 DVD -CD Drives, A Windows xp
Professional "Genuwine" Advantage disk bought from Microsoft at a cost of
£92.00($190.00) and when I went to do what you wanted to do, THE
FILES(plural) were Not on the disc. Microsoft doesn't want to know. Billie's
got his money! And he don't care! Be careful of what you wish for. My
sympathies!
