Can't filter completed tasks in search mode

I can filter completed tasks out of my category task view but when I try to
search in tasks I get the completed tasks with the undone ones that match the
search terms. I see that I could filter completes out in Advanced Search mode
but I would like that to be the norm for normal search mode.

Any thoughts?
