Can't export from Outlook 2003

I'm trying to export contacts but when I try to export to anything except a
..pst file, the folder list under "Select folder to export from" is blank and
the "Next" button is unavailable. I just upgraded from Office 2000 to 2003,
so this is my first attempt at exporting in OL 2003. I can't find any reason
why the export isn't working.

so why don´t you copy or backup your pst file? It include the contacts

I'm trying to export to Excel for a project. Having another pst file isn't
of any use for my purposes.
