Can't exit program

Since about a week ago I have lost the ability to exit out
of IE 6.0 the normal way. I click on the X or go to file
and click on exit and all I hear is a bell tone. I have
to type Control Alt Delete and use task manager to close
IE6. Weird ! ! ! My Operating system is Win2K. Anyone
have a solution?

I have seen the same thing,, plus,, all of a sudden, my Pop-Stopper seems to be letting a lot of wierd pages show up.
