can't empty deleted items folder

Hi has anyone had this problem and if so how do I fix it, I have about 60
messages that wont delete when I try to delete them I get an error message
that says an unknown error has occurred thanks for any help (e-mail address removed)

If any message can't be moved or deleted, apply this Microsoft fix:

Although that article only mentions Outbox, it works for all mail folders.

Incidentally, that fix was also included in Vista's SP1, so if you haven't
installed that, you are way overdue.

This is a problem with your browser. I had the same problem and reinstalled
firefox and that fixed it.
