Can't download or get any pop-up's

I need to download a program from PC Magazine, and I can't get the pop-up to
work. I use Zone Alarm 4 with the latest updates, and I use the Google Tool
Bar where I unchecked the Po-up blocker. Maybe I only did this halfway, but
I never touched ZA, before it always worked, Any help is
appreciated............Peter

Active Scripting within IE Options>security tab *must be enabled* for that
small upper left hand corner pop-up window to open. If you are on the PC
magazine page with Active Scripting disabled, you must *refresh the page
after* you have enabled Active Scripting.

I use ZA Pro (older version than yours) and Google toolbar with pop-up
blocker and the PC mag window works for me.

Sorry for being late, and thank you for the help. I did have the active
Scripting enabled. I'm glad to know that though, because we have similar
problems at work.....What else can it be. I appreciate you a
lot............Peter

People have things to do, and you aren't alone in that...so it's OK. ;-)

I think the later versions of ZA also have a pop-up blocker installed. You
should access the GUI of Zone Alarm and see how to configure or disable it.
Use the ZA help files for this. I wish good programs such as ZA would stick
to what they do best (Firewall) and let other purpose specific programs
handle the fluff of pop-up blocking.

Incidentally, I wouldn't run around on the WWW to every site and click
everything with Scripting enabled. It's a door which enables all manner of
vermin into one's PC.
