can't download from FTP

I can not download anything. Everytime I try to download I
get this same message "Download type, Extension bmp, MIME
TYPE: application/octet-stream". I get this download type
everytime, even if it is not a bmp file. I can not change
it. It seems this is a recent problem since I use to be
able to download things without problem.

Any help if greatly appreciated!!!!!!

Try deleting Temporary Internet Files from IE Tools | Internet Options
