Can't Display Data in DAP After Applying SP3 for Win 2K

After applying the Service Pack 3 for Windows 2000,
neither I nor anyone else that relies on my data access
pages can see the navigation bar or tools. We have seen
the Microsoft knowlegebase article that recommends
removing the codebase parameter but removing this
parameters just causes synchronization lockups between the
script editor and the tool. Help?

When SP3 was applied, was archiving done to "uninstall
SP3" and revert back to the previous Service Pack? Also,
are you willing to try SP4 now that it is available?
