When creating a doc and inserting clip art, the artwork does not display but
it does print ok and in the correct position. Why does it not display on doc?

Many thanks if you can help.

In the Tools > Options dialog, there are two separate options
concerning the visibility of graphics.

One is the "Drawings" option on the View tab. When it's unchecked,
floating graphics don't display in the Print Layout view (but in-line
graphics will display).

The other one is the "Drawing objects" option on the Print tab. When
it's unchecked, floating graphics don't appear in Print Preview and
don't print on paper. (Again, in-line graphics aren't affected by the
option.)

These two options are completely independent, so you can have floating
graphics display on screen but not print, or you can have them print
but not display, or you can turn them both on or both off. Normally
they should both be turned on.
