Can't disable "Automatically put people I reply to in my Address B

I want to disable the "Automatically put people I reply to in my Address
Book" in Outlook 2000. My problem is that in "Tools"-"Options" there is no
"Send" tab where I can uncheck this option as was the case in Outlook
Express. Would somebody tell me how to disable this?

Thank you

Thank you for your answer Russ.

I recently switched from Outlook Express to Outlook and noticed that my
Address Book is quickly filling up with many new addresses. I originally
blamed at that feature but now I don't know. Could it be that any message
that I view in the preview window automatically generates an entry for the
sender address?

Outlook 2002 has no such feature.
Explain what you mean.

Outlook Express has such a feature. Outlook does not. Outlook and OE are in
no way related. Outlook does not even have an address book (it uses a
Contacts Folder), so it is entirely unclear what you mean. You'll need to
explain more clearly what you mean by "my Address Book is quickly filling up
with new addresses." I'd also recommend an updated virus scan.

Seems to me, when upgrading OL 2000 IMO to OL 2002, some features from OL
2000 can be carried over to OL 2002 even though they officially don't exist
in OL 2002. Now, I have no idea if this is the case with this feature, but
I can conceive of it happening. If it was a new install of OL 2002, though,
you're absolutely correct. You may be correct of the upgrade install as
well, it's just that I've seen reports of things getting carried over that
shouldn't have been.

An upgrade from IMO to Outlook 2002 carried over a lot more than just this
feature, however, and left the user with such a dysfunctional profile that
they would have a lot more problems than just this. I assumed that since the
OP said they "upgraded" from OE, that they meant they installed Outlook for
the first time. Hard to know for sure when so little information is posted.
