Hello,
This is my first question in this group.
I have just deleted xandros linux from my hp compaq d230 and installed an oem version of xp pro to it. I used in the install-cd and in crete partitions I pressed the d-key to delete all partitions. Then I created new partitions. Hopefully I got a clean install after that. Now when xp pro is installed and running the network card isn't detected. It even doesnt exist in the device manager.
Before this I had a network connection with my two computers through a router and it worked ok. At the moment my other computer which also run xp pro is up and connected to internet through the router.

What can I do to get the network card working?
It is installed in the hp-machine (Integrated Broadcom 10/100).

Download the latest drivers, and check your BIOS to see if
it is disabled.

Thanks for the tip.
The BIOS settings seems to be aktivated but to get drivers downloaded without a network card and connection to internet, I just don't know how to manage that.

well, you are already online with one pc - so locate the drivers from that
one. then either use a floppy/zip/cd-r to transfer the files to the other
machine.... ;-)
