I was trying to make a CD backup of 30 pictures which
were all in one file folder and I got the following
message for two pictures:
--------------------------------------------------------
Windows encountered a problem while trying to copy this
file. What do you want Windows to do?
Name of file (very long file name)appears.
Type: Dell Image Expert Picture
Size: 30.3 KB
Retry or Cancel?
---------------------------------------------------------
I clicked retry and got the same message again so I
clicked cancel and continued with the rest of the
pictures I wanted to copy to the CD.
After burning the CD, I kept getting an error message
that the files were not able to be written to the CD.
After ruining 3 CD's, I decided to delete the files that
caused the above error message but I could not delete
them into the Recycling Bin. So I just moved them to
another file and didn't copy them to the CD. Then the CD
burned with no problem and I verified that all the pics I
wanted burned were indeed on this CD.
**My question - How do I delete these two picture files
with these very long names if when I right click them I
do not get a delete option and they won't drag to the
Recyling Bin?
Thanks so much (sorry so long),
