Can't delete from Outlook Express

I can't delete emails from my Inbox. The Hourglass icon
comes up and nothing happens. Maybe several minutes later
the email will have been deleted.
 
Hi,

I think the Inbox.dbx is corrupt.

Try creating a new identity and then see if u r able to access the Inbox
there.

If u r able to do that , tehn try importing the data from the previous
identity.
