Cant Delete Email in Outlook

I cannot delete any messages that show up in my in box. When I hi
delete it gives me an error and says: "The messaging interface ha
returned an unknown error. If the problem persists, restart Outlook."

I have restarted, rebooted and nothing works. Please... someone hel
me.
